Building Surveys
A Building Survey Report follows an in-depth investigation and provides advice on structure, comments on services and gives an overall opinion of the dwelling.
This can also include a list of essential repairs and suggested improvements for maximising the potential of the property.
This is normally suitable for large houses, period properties and more individual dwellings. A Home Buyers’ Report is a less extensive document that should still contain the same information, albeit it in a more precise form.
While some Surveyors might consider that this type of report can be produced after a more cursory inspection, we have always carried out the same level of inspection and survey regardless of the type of report the client eventually commissions. The Home Buyers’ Report is, however, more suitable for smaller houses and apartments.
